Workout today:
10 push-presses #65, 10 assisted pullups, 9 push-presses #65, 9 assisted pullups, 9 push-presses #65, 8 assisted pullups, 7 push-presses #45, 7 even more assisted pullups. Then a quater mile run in 2:35 or so.
The plan had been to take this pattern all the way to 1 but my arms were abotu to fall off.
As I said this is probably going to make me sore tomorrow.
warmed up then did the following workout:
Row 1000 meters, 25 quick jumps, Row 750 meters, 50 quick jumps, Row 500 meters, 100 quick jumps. Was be done for time and it took me 13:34.
I had to just stand over the drinking fountian for more than a few seconds before even taking a drink I was so outta breath. The “quick jumps” should have been jump roped but our gym doesn’t have any yet.
Sure I could have drawn it out but it still would have been the same amount of work so why not try to get it done fast?
I got a good 20+ minutes of the stationary bike tonight. I had planned to do a lot more. Just wish I hadn’t eaten like I was going to workout hard. Oh well tomorrow it’s back on the wagon, or off, or which ever one is good.
last night’s workout: 500m rowing machine:2:47s, 10 pullup, 10 situps, 10 air squats, 15 pullups with 76# assist. Then finally 3X5 90# deadlifts. probably could have lifted more but it’s actually a very technical exercise and wanted to be sure I didn’t hurt myself.
I had a VERY terrrible lunch yesterday but apparently made up for it in the gym I guess cause I ended up losing a pound this morning. Maybe if I workout hard enough I won’t have to change my diet very much or at all, we’ll all see I guess.

Okay, with the lost pound yesterday and the gained pound today so I’m right back where I started. Woot! It’s nice to know that by doing nothing I will easily return to my starting weight. I was really worried that once the weight came off I wouldn’t be able to put it back on. Whew, what a weight off my mind! Ok, that was sarcasm. I was pretty tired and sore from the workout the day before yesterday (my first day really working out in a long time) so I skippped doing any kind of workout.
I did watch what I ate yesterday but it seems that just watching was all I did, I failed to eat any less or stop eating anything (except a few candy bars at work which I WAS able to say no to). That is my first BIG change, “NO eating the stuff on people’s desk or in meetings.”, and yes I mean those bowls of candy/plates of donuts and not the pencils, pens, and folders. I’ll still let myself eat pencils, pens, and folders.
Well I made it there, the NEW gym that is. 10 push ups, 20 #88 assisted pullups , 10 #40 back squats, 10 #20 overhead squats, .2 mile running on toes (heard this can prevent a whole bunch of running issues), 500 meter row.
Not much I know but I had to start somewhere.

Well as the title says I’m starting on this site to have some sort of accountability for my health/fitness. Maybe posting it to the whole world will be more motivational.
